Harold Himle1924 ~ 2013Harold Himle passed away peacefully on May 2, 2013. He and twin sister, Hazel, were born March 14, 1924 to Anna Muri and Nils Himle in Wolford, ND. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. Harold married Lois Johnson, August 1, 1950 and together they built a business, a family and a home. As a convert to the LDS faith, Harold never wavered in his devotion. He was a loving husband, proud father and doting grandfather. His example of hard work never ceased. He worked not only for his family but for the people of Papua, New Guinea, where he and Lois served an LDS mission. Age never slowed him down; his strong hands were busy with projects well past retirement. He is survived by his sister, Hazel Johnson; daughter-in-law, Kathleen; children, Wes (Kathy), Steve (Becky), Curt (Sheila), Dave (Vicki), Barbara (Roger) Ishino, Sue (Larry) Clark; 27 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, son Doug, four brothers, three sisters, and niece, Karen Anderson.Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6th, 11:00 a.m. at the Brookshire Ward, 5550 S. 1327 W. with a viewing one hour prior to services.
