Phyllis Queen Cornum LevingstonSeptember 14, 1924 ~ May 3, 2013Our beloved Phyllis, the center of our family, gently slipped from this mortal existence on May 3, 2013.Phyllis was born September 14, 1924 in Sanford, Colorado to Sidney & Queen Cornum. Sixty-eight years ago, on June 17, 1945, she married William G. Levingston in Provo, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Bill and 5 children: Kathy (Doug) Llewellyn Springville, UT, Mark Levingston Mapleton, UT, Steve (Jill) Levingston Orem, UT, Randy (Jackie) Levingston Provo, UT, Michelle (Jade) Lee Saratoga Springs, UT; 25 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and counting; her sisters Colleen Edwards Taylorsville, UT, Martha (Nile) Brady Denver, CO and her brother Alger (Beryl) Cornum Salt Lake City.She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She received much joy as she served in numerous callings, especially as she served in the library with her dear friends. She was an example of service and sacrifice to her family, which was the most important thing in her life. Mom, we love and miss you.We invite you to attend a celebration of her life. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Lakeside 8th Ward Chapel, 135 South 1600 West, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Monday 6-8 p.m., and at the church Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
