Darlene Hansen1924 ~ 2013Bountiful, UTDarlene Hansen, 89, peacefully passed away May 2, 2013 to join her beloved husband, Hans. She was born January 10, 1924 in Pasamonte, New Mexico and later lived with her great aunt in Wichita, Kansas. Darlene moved to Salt Lake City where she fell in love and married her husband, Hans Hansen in the Salt Lake Temple in 1952. Darlene served in various positions in the LDS Church but her favorite was working in the primary. She loved music, crocheting, and doing genealogy work. Darlene was proud of her heritage and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.A viewing will be held Monday May 6 at Deseret Mortuary 36 E. 700 S. Salt Lake City, from 6-8 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday May 7th at Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent at www.memorialutah.com
