Shirl Sundell1938 ~ 2013Shirl Sundell was born on September 22, 1938 to John Berger Sundell and Amelia Thomson Sundell. He passed away on May 6, 2013. Shirl was married to Roylance Ray Sundell in 1957. His 4 children that are mourning his loss are Tammy (Randy) Lang, Jack, Wade (Diana) and Kelli Sundell. Our dad was the best dad any kid could have. He was the greatest listener, a shoulder to cry on, our confidant and sometimes our loan center. We knew we could always count on dad for whatever our needs were. He was extremely proud of all of his children and grandchildren and had a special relationship with each of them. He worked in construction, owning and operating American Drywall for 35 years. His work was his joy, his social life and his fun. He took great pride in his home and yard, with the flowers and rocks he arranged so it didn't look planted but natural, like it was meant to be there. He was preceded in passing by his parents, his ex-wife, Roylance, his siblings, Cliff, Don and Geraldine. He is survived by his 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his sisters, Leah and Sharon, his brother, Tom (Sue) and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale.
