Howard Charles Davis1926 ~ 2013Howard Charles Davis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on May 5, 2013, in Taylorsville, Utah, at the age of 87. He was born on April 19, 1926 and spent the earlier part of his life living in Nebraska. He proudly served in the Navy, and later became a barber and an EMT. After moving to Utah, he worked in the electronics field until he retired. He then took up his true passion that of cooking. He would read a cookbook from cover to cover as one would read a novel. We will always remember those "homegrown" hamburgers, bacon wrapped scallops, lobster on Thanksgiving, and the famous "Sivad" (Davis spelled backwards) restaurant. Howard was a kind and gentle man, who touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. Survived by his sister Arlene Bridge, father-in-law Raymond Ewell, loving wife Patricia, his five children, three step-children, and many grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church located at 4932 South 3200 West, Taylorsville, Utah.
