Steve T. Nixon1947 ~ 2013Centerville/Bountiful, UtahSteve T. Nixon, 65, of Bountiful/Centerville, UT passed away from pancreatic cancer. Steve was the oldest child of Tom and Ann Nixon. He graduated in 1965 from Davis High School. He worked for the Davis School District as head custodian. He married Colleen Rosser in 1967. They had two children, Cassie and Steve. They divorced in 1994, remaining friends and helping each other care for their son, Steve.Steve loved sports, the Yankees, Raiders and the Jazz (he was the first one in the stands. He had a passion for music, especially Elvis. He loved riding his Goldwing and traveling. Steve was a wonderful grandpa, with a big heart, who always supported his grandchildren. He was a strong member of the LDS church having served in many callings. He loved family gatherings.Steve is survived by his children Cassie (Kymber) Housley, Steve S. Nixon; his siblings: Scott (Judy) Nixon, Rick (Pam) Nixon, Sindy Nixon; his grandchildren: Chaz (Courtney) Housley, Hadlee (Corey) Daines, Brooklyn Housley; and a great-granddaughter coming in October. Proceeded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 100 South Main, Btfl. A viewing will be held Sunday, June 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Mortuary, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr, Bountiful and Monday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the tabernacle prior to services.
