Sharon B. RasmussenMay 20, 1936-June 8, 2013Sharon Betty Nelson (Catmull) Rasmussen 77 passed away June 8, 2013 in her sleep after a valiant fight with a disease called Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy. She was born May 20, 1936 to Pearl Elizabeth (Dangerfield) and Archie Nelson. She graduated from East High School S LC, Utah. Married Daniel Catmull on September 28, 1956 (later divorced). She married Earl Rasmussen on October 27, 1989 in The Salt Lake Temple. She was a Homemaker all of her life. She loved music and sung with "The Sweet Adelines" women's barbershop. She served in the LDS church as chorister and primary teacher. She loved to dance and play the piano, it was her life until her body would not allow her to do so anymore. We will miss her hugs and smile. God be with you until we meet again. Survived by her husband, Earl; her daughters, Chris Masters, Julie (Gary) Jacobsen; brother, Gaylen (Deanna) Nelson. She had 3 grandchildren, stepchildren and stepgrandchildren which she considered her own. Preceded in death by her two identical twin sons, Clark N. Catmull (died at age 11), Mark E. Catmull (died at 42); parents; sister, Shirley Mahu. She is having quite a reunion right now with her family that has gone on before. We will miss her dearly but are glad to see her not suffer anymore. We would like to thank the people at Prestige Home Care and Tender Care Hospice, her stepdaughter, and all aides that gave her the wonderful care she received. Services will be held Monday, June 17th, 12:00 p.m., at Wasatch 1st Ward, 1750 So. 1500 E. in SLC, UT. Viewings will be Sunday, June 16th, 6-8 p.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So.
