Warren Edward Guertler1958 ~ 2013Warren left this earth on June 13, 2013 to begin the next step in his progression. Born June 30, 1958 to Fern Anderson and Edward George Guertler (both deceased) in Philadelphia, PA. Moved to the Salt Lake area at about 8 years of age with his mother and sister. Attended school in Granite School District. At about age 12 his mother married Kenneth Jenks (deceased). He enjoyed serving his neighbors by mowing lawns, shoveling snow, garbage can retrieval, and other jobs as needed. He was the Neighborhood Watch Captain, an avid reader, a 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do, and practiced meditation. He would occasionally call family to communicate and keep in touch. He was very independent and loved the company of his dogs; Kramer I, Kramer II and DingDing. Survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ted Neff; nephew and nieces, Mark & Laurie, Katie & Nate, Becky & Bryan, Jenny & Aaron; many aunts & uncles and good friends. We take comfort that he is in a better place where we can greet him later.Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
