Faye LaRee Wall ProvostMarch 31, 1926 ~ June 17, 2013Faye LaRee Wall Provost passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013, in Heber City, Utah. She was born to David M. and Katie May Pulley Wall, in Wallsburg, Utah, on March 31, 1926. She married Robert W. Provost on October 24, 1942. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Faye grew up in Wallsburg during the Great Depression, attended Wasatch High School, and married during WWII. She was extremely resourceful and could make anything out of nothing. She was ambitious, hardworking, independent, a perfectionist, and kept an immaculate home. She will be remembered for her honesty, thrift, and love and devotion to her family. She was a trusted and true friend to many.Faye was blessed with many gifts and talents, including music, painting, amazing cooking and sewing skills, and a variety of beautiful handiwork. She carried on her pioneer heritage. Her summer months were spent in the vegetable garden and canning fruits and vegetables. She had a deep appreciation for birds and could name and paint about any variety. She particularly enjoyed taking care of humming birds who flocked to her back porch. During wintertime she was entertained by the deer in her backyard.Faye had a very unique, quiet, and unpretentious sense of humor and had a variety of sayings that were highly original. She loved traveling with her husband and they enjoyed many road trips in their motor home.Faye was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings.She is survived by her children, William (B.J.) Provost, Bonnie Marchant, and Dianne (Brent) Teeples, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Belva Provost. She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters, Lona Ford, May Wall, and Norma Draper.The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Jill Faatz for her kindness and compassion; to the wonderful and amazing IHC Hospice team: Dr. Justin Barrett, Nurse: Audrey, Counselor: Lori, Chaplain: Steve, Aide: Brittany, and the medical equipment crew to include Rick and Ty. Deepest thanks to Jennifer Marchant and Barbara Hutcheson for their loving care of Faye.Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 11:00 a.m., in the Heber 1st/6th/9th Ward, 325 East 500 North, Heber City. Viewing will be on Saturday from 9:30 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the LDS Church. Interment will follow the services in the Heber City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
