Dawn Bay FreelandApril 6, 1925 ~ June 18, 2013I died today, June 18, 2013, at the age of 88, awfully good life don't you think? I loved and laughed and traveled and played, but in the end the culprit was too many birthdays. I was born April 6, 1925 in Junction, UT to Ira Milton and Josie Barnson Bay. They were wonderful parents, and I had a great childhood, full of love and adventure shared with Madeline (Ervin), Mac (JoAnn), Annadee (James), JoIris (Richard) and Drusilla (Alan). A move to San Diego brought me to another adventure, W. Alan Freeland my High School love. I had my nose in a book and he wore his letterman sweater. We met in speech class, I of course on the front row and he in the back. College and marriage and war and children, a Mission served together and then the end to his mortal mission here on earth. I stayed behind with my Children Bill (Judy), Jo (Steve) and Mike (Vardell). Grandkids came and what fun we had! We traveled and laughed and camped and sang silly songs, chicken lips anyone? I will miss you all, but it is time for me to go off on the ultimate adventure! Please send flowers, no need for donations I took care of that throughout my life and besides flowers are much prettier, no black, no funeral just a celebration of life! Thanks and goodbye, just for now of course, so no more tears, we will all be together again someday, and besides I really feel much better today than I did yesterday!Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Jordan Willow 1st Ward Chapel, 2161 West Gray Drive, Lehi, Utah.
