WEST VALLEY CITY — The Utah Grizzlies announced Tuesday that head coach Kevin Colley has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
Colley led the Grizzlies to the playoffs in all five years as head coach and compiled a regular season record of 157-152-50. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach with Utah in 2007-2008 and was named head coach for the following season.
"Over the last six years, coach Colley was dedicated to his team, and I thank him for his service," said Grizzlies CEO Kevin Bruder. "Colley's passion for the game of hockey was illustrated on a daily basis. We wish him well in all his future endeavors."
