Ann Roylance Ostergaard1943 ~ 2013Clark and I met while attending USU. We were married in 1962. Clark was employed by the U.S. Forest Service as a landscape architect. We moved a lot. Each of our five kids where born in different places we have lived. Logan, Salt Lake, Salmon ID, Grass Valley CA, and back in Salt Lake. Clark retired in 94, but not me. Me retire? Not on your life! I'm a domestic engineer and always will be. Clark spent a summer in Alaska as a volunteer. I joined him for a wonderful vacation. The following year we were called to served a mission in New Zealand where Clark redesigned the temple grounds and I was in charge of the flowerbeds. While Clark was sitting in and office drawing circles on plans, I was out working on the grounds. We would plant 35,000 flowers spring and fall on the 46 acre grounds. A few years later we were called to serve another mission. This time we worked in the Church Office Building in the Recreation Property Section. We visited Church girls camps in Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California. We also visited a church owned ranch in Florida where we evaluated a proposed new camp location.I enjoy music, gardening, camping and our 20 grandkids. We get to tend grandkids twice a week. We are enjoying life despite our aches and pains and without the gold in our golden years.
