Melanie Davis Peck"Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt Mai"Our beautiful curly headed "Mau Mau" was suddenly called home Sunday afternoon June 23, 2013. Melanie was born on October 26, 1984 to Brian Peck and Judy Ainsworth. She was raised with seven siblings and a multitude of beloved cousins that will forever share an eternal bond. She married Edward Hill in October, 2009 and together they welcomed a heavenly-miracle, Eliana Grace Hill. Despite the many trials and illnesses of being born with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Melanie worked hard and always loved to laugh and enjoy life. She loved swimming (you could never get her out of the water), 4-wheeling, camping, Polynesian culture, trailer-time with cousins, mischief, jet skiing, laughing, the ocean, music and singing in the car, unmercifully teasing her Dad, talking with her Mom; but most of all time with her precious Eliana who was the light of Melanie's life. She was welcomed home by her beloved Grandpa Ed, whom she adored and missed, Grandma Laurene Singleton and Grandpa Grant Ainsworth and her recently departed Uncle Randal Tuft. She is survived by her daughter Eliana, her parents, her siblings: Meri-Elizabeth, Anna (Bear), Janice (Brandy), Karen (Ange), Kathryn (Matt), Kenny (Emily), David (Jill); her Grandma Phyllis, nieces, nephews, many cousins, Aunts and Uncles. At Melanie's request graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 10 am at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City.Melanie's care is under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
