Ignoring scandal?

I am surprised and disappointed at the Deseret News' failure to cover the scandals in Washington, D.C. While John Swallow has made the headlines nearly every day, you ignore massive corruption at the highest levels of government. The IRS is targeting and punishing political enemies, the government is hacking into private emails of reporters and criminalizing their reports, the government failed to respond to the attack at Benghazi, then covered up what happened and is stonewalling efforts to investigate.

I am old enough to remember Watergate, and there were reports every day in every newspaper and TV news report. These scandals are much worse, and the Deseret News is ignoring them. If we have lost a press that will report on corruption in our national government, then we are a giant step toward a totalitarian state that has no accountability.
