OGDEN — The 10th-annual Ogden Arts Festival will feature two days of free live acoustic performances, hands-on activities, workshops, demonstrations and competitions. Held at the Ogden Union Station (2501 Wall Ave.), it will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8.

According to a press release, the event is "Northern Utah's largest multi-disciplinary festival" and will feature 40 juried local, regional and national artists who will display and sell artwork in a variety of mediums.

The festival will feature new additions to its lineup, including the Street Piano Project and Art Walls. The Street Piano Project consists of a group of local artists who will design and paint 10 pianos, which will be displayed and played throughout the festival. Art Walls consists of a group of 10 artists who will paint five 4-by-6-foot walls during the festival.

Attendees can also watch live artists Saturday as they create a downtown Ogden area scene in three hours during the Quick Draw competition from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Artwork from the Plein Air competition, held the week before the festival, will be on display both Friday and Saturday and kids art activities will be held Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
