Utah's Hogle Zoo has been delighting young and old alike for over 80 years as one of Utah's most-visited attractions. In June 2012, Hogle Zoo opened its largest and most expensive exhibit to date, Rocky Shores. This mixed-species exhibit features a polar bear, sea lions, grizzly bear cubs, otters, seals, bald eagles, and more. The new Beastro also opened in 2012, offering fare from hot dogs to Panini's.
Among other happenings at Hogle Zoo last year include the birth of both a giraffe and a gibbon. The Zoo also experienced record-breaking attendance during June, as well as for its sixth annual ZooLights event in the winter.
If you haven't been to Hogle Zoo in years, take time this year to rediscover the new adventures this local attraction has to offer. The summer season runs through the end of September, during which admission is $12.75 for adults, $9.75 for seniors over 65 or children ages three to twelve, and free for children two and under.
