Oscar Elmo Neuman"Mighty Moe"8/26/1928 ~ 8/17/2013Oscar was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Oscar and Karen Jorgensen Neuman. He attended South High and served in the US Navy. He married Virginia Moore on November 30, 1948; she passed away February 14, 1988. He owned Wixom Piano Service where he rebuilt and refinished many works of art. He was a true craftsman.Dad loved telling stories, jokes, the "roads-less-traveled", family, hunting, fishing, camping, rock-hounding, sports, Wendover and TV. His laugh was infectious. He was featured in several hunting and fishing articles and books, and he was a past member of the Meadow Brook Men's Club. Many will cherish his handmade jewelry and belt buckles. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy; brothers, David, Alfred, Denny; and long time companion in mischief and life, Jeannie Redmond. Survived by sisters, Ginny and Lola; daughter, Carla (Raymond) Quintana; grandchildren, Ryan (Ali), Jamie (Stephen), Landon, Corbyn, Jessica (Jesse), Trevor (Ashley); and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by The Redmond Kids: Debbie, Bruce, Paula, Lois, Pam, Lynette and their families who always adored him. His puppies, Scrappy and Oscar, will miss him sharing his meals with them. "Tears and Cheers, Dad. We love you always and forever."Viewing and Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 So.
