BYU women’s cross-country was picked as the No. 7 team in the Mountain Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.

The Cougars finished in seventh place at last year’s Mountain Region Championships and third at the West Coast Conference Championships. BYU was picked second in the 2013 WCC preseason coaches poll.

The Cougars will start their season at the San Francisco Invitational on Aug. 31, before returning home to host the BYU Autumn Classic on Sept. 14 at the Clarence F. Robison Track and Field Complex on the BYU campus.
