Kathryn Jacob Jacobs1945 ~ 2013Date of Birth: Payson, UT, August 15, 1945 Date of Death: Salem, OR, August 23, 2013Kathryn was born to John Norton Jacob and Vesta Maud Twitchell, and will always be remembered as the best anniversary present to her mother and father. Kathryn was and still is a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has left this earthly life and is now with her father, John Norton Jacob, and her son, John Charles Martin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Vesta Maude Jacob, her husband Johnny Ray Jacobs, her four daughters, Dixie Lynnette Martin, Deborah Jean Martin, Patricia Kay Schara, and Jocelyn Amanda Jacobs, seven brothers and sisters, Sherrill Jeanne Jacob, Jerry Colin Jacob, Charles Richard Jacob, Leland Isaac (Ike) Jacob, John Dee Jacob, Margie Ann Patterson and O'Leah Christine Brown. She is the proud grandmother and great grandmother of seven wonderful grandchildren, Troy Joshua Corwell, Richard Dean Corwell, Jeffery John Ponciroli, Alice Michelle O'Key, Cassidy Jane Edwards, Skyla Kay Jacobs, and Kaleb Ray Hulett, as well as four wonderful great grandchildren, Zachary Joshua Corwell, Sammie Corwell, MacKenzie Irene Corwell, and Bradley Troy Corwell. Some of Kathryn's hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She loved the outdoors, especially the mountains of Utah and the ocean beaches of Oregon. Kathryn was born in Payson, Utah and spent most of her life living in Utah. She is a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a graduate of Lehi High School in Lehi, Utah. Kathryn will be truly missed by all who loved her and whose lives she touched. All are welcome and encouraged to attend the services. Services will be held Saturday August 31st, at Noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Willamina at 900 NW Willamina Dr. Interment will follow services at Green Crest Memorial Park, Sheridan, OR.Adamson's Funeral Home Directors.
