Bonnie B. Reynolds July 16, 1924 July 31, 2013Bonnie Jean Bailey Reynolds passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the age of 89. Bonnie was born July 16, 1924 to Owen Albert Bailey and Elsie Daisy Garrett Strong, the youngest of eleven children born to a "yours, mine and ours family." She loved growing up in the Avenues of Salt Lake City, attending West High School and dancing at the Rainbow Rendezvous. She attended Stevens-Henager College.She worked as a PBX operator at the Church Office Building. She especially enjoyed getting to know many of the General Authorities at the time. She then went on to work at Fort Douglas during World War II.She married Darrell H Reynolds August 26, 1946. They had 4 daughters. After her divorce in 1980 she went to work at the University of Utah as the secretary to the Purchasing Department until her retirement.She moved to St. George in July 2004 to be close to her daughters. She made many new friends, and enjoyed the time spent with them. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her senior ward family.She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each year her grandchildren will think of her fondly while hanging the many Christmas ornaments she made for them.Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 8 sisters and son-in-law David Stevens. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Shonnie Stevens, Sherril (Stan) Rasmussen, Lezlie Reynolds (Steven Fraunfelter) and Holly (David) West, 10 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.In celebration of Bonnie's life, a viewing will be held Sunday, August 4, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday prior to the funeral 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the Morningside Stake Center, 900 South River Road, St. George, Utah. Funeral services will be held Monday August 5, at 11:30 a.m. at the same location.A viewing will also be held Tuesday August 6, 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E.
