Margaret (Margo) Anne Hobbs6/30/1939 8/24/2013"No matter how many miles there are, our hearts connect us." Margo Hobbs gently passed away last Saturday. Her final months held equal measures of humor, strength, dignity, and love. All will remember her giving and kind heart, wit, and humor. Born in Beloit WI, to Ludwig and Gertrude Allen Grauel, she attended Beloit high school and the University of Wisconsin before graduating from Beloit College. Later, she moved to California and enjoyed an elementary teaching career. There, she met and married her lifelong friend, Ledon Hobbs. They moved to Utah where she formed many beautiful friendships, all the while maintaining cherished friendships back "home" in Wisconsin. She retired from the U of U Graduate Studies department in 2006 and enjoyed road trips, the ocean, playing cards, Door County and sharing time with friends and family. Her grandson brought her immense joy and she looked forward to the birth of her granddaughter. She is survived by her children Lance (Rashelle) and Heather, sister Barb Grauel, cousin Ursula (Joe) McCarthy, the Hobbs and Diehl Families. Preceded in death by her parents and loving mother, Bess Hobbs. Special thanks to Dr. Tawnya Bowles and the staffs of IMC, Garden Terrace Rehab, and CareSource Hospice. A celebration of her life will commence at a later date. She is now free to play with the butterflies. Messages to the family can be posted at: www.HolbrookMortuary.com
