OMAHA, Neb. — The opening game of the Pacific Coast League championship Tuesday night between the Salt Lake Bees and Omaha Storm Chasers was postponed because of rain. The two teams will resume the game Wednesday at 12 p.m. MDT.

When the game resumes Omaha will be up to bat in the bottom of the second inning with the game tied 1-1. Game 2 of the series will still be played at the scheduled time of 6 p.m. MDT.

Thursday is a scheduled travel day for the two clubs, with Game 3 of the series coming Friday in Salt Lake City. If necessary, Games 4 and 5 will follow in Salt Lake on Saturday and Sunday.
