OREM - Just days removed from hosting its lone tournament of the 2013-14 season, the Utah Valley University women's golf team will head to Kuna, Idaho, to take part in Boise State's Bronco Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The two-day tournament will take place at the Falcon Crest Golf Club, and the course will play at a par 72 and at 6,158 yards for the tournament. Live scoring will be available for the Invitational by visiting Golfstat's website.

Monday's opening round will tee off at 8:30 a.m., and all eight Wolverine golfers will be in competition at the tournament. The five team scorers for Utah Valley will be juniors Hannah Herman, Heather Mathison, Lynn-Marié Nagel, Brooke Whittaker and sophomore Cassandra Lesa. Sophomore Kalea Heu, redshirt freshman Kimberly Nyhus and freshman Monica Yeates will compete as individuals at the tournament.

Joining the Wolverines in the field will be Boise State, Eastern Washington, Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Idaho State, Montana State, Portland State, Santa Clara and Weber State.

This past week at the Hobble Creek Invitational at Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah, Utah Valley finished 10th out of 13 teams. Nagel led the way for the Wolverines as she tied for 18th by shooting 17-over par at the 54-hole tournament. Nyhus was the next best finisher for UVU after her 2-over 73 in the final round helped her tie for 29th at +22. Mathison's 24-over was good enough for 37th place, while Whittaker tied for 38th with +25 and Herman took 46th with +28.

Tuesday's final round of the Bronco Fall Invite will begin at 8 a.m., with golfers teeing off on hole No. 1 and hole No. 10.

Following the Invitational, the Wolverines will have a couple of weeks to prepare for their next tournament - New Mexico State's Price's Give `Em Five Classic - that will take place Oct. 7-9 in Las Cruces, N.M.
