Joseph "Ski" Francis Kielkowski1928 ~ 2013Joseph "Ski" Francis Kielkowski passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 30th 2013 at the home of his beloved grandson, Josh (Jen) Kielkowski. Joe was born on March 19th, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Frances V. Kielkowski, daughter of John and Frances (nee:Opielinski).Ski made friends wherever he went and will be greatly missed. He had years of dedicated military service and had a great love for our country. He also had a great respect for the American flag and always made sure it was flown correctly. He loved to spend time with his great grandchildren. We would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Scorez sport bar in Lehi and Max A+ Shuttle service, where Ski spent many hours hanging out with his friends. Ski is survived by his wife Janice Schindler Kielkowski; his children Jeanie Olsen (Sid), Julia Brakey (Jack), John (Dixie), JoAnn Lester (Tim), Jennifer Wellman (Ronald) and James (Leslie); he had 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Frances V. Hultgren (nee: Kielkowski), his step father Frank Hultgren, brothers Frank Jr. and Edward, and his sister Barbara. As Ski requested, there were no services held, just a party to celebrate his life and remember all of the good times. We love you and miss you. See you later
