John Uresk1922 ~ 2013Roosevelt, UTJohn Uresk, age 91, passed away September 14, 2013, at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa. He was born January 5, 1922, in Myton, to Matthew and Ursula Scoflanc Uresk. He married Bonnie Lou Kump on January 2, 1949, in Lapoint, and they were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple. John is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Roosevelt; children, Jack (Masayo) Uresk, Casper, WY; daughter-in-law, Karen Uresk, Roosevelt; Gary (Lois) Uresk, Kaysville; Glenn (Evelyn) Uresk, Myton; Wade (Patricia) Uresk, South Jordan; 31 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Louis (Corinne) Uresk, Elgin, IL. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Uresk; parents, Matthew and Ursula; brothers, Joseph Zorko, Daniel, Matthew Jr., Frank, and Antone; sister, Mary Uresk, and granddaughter, Mandy Lou Uresk. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Myton LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
