Jonathan Alma Hill1985 ~ 2013Jonathan (Jon) Hill passed away Saturday, 14 September 2013 at the home of his parents in Fruit Heights. He was a valiant and loving friend to all who has now returned to his Heavenly Father. He was born 20 November 1985 in Ogden, Utah. He spent his childhood and early teenage years living in South America with his family. His love for those of other countries and cultures was always in his life.He graduated from Davis High School in 2004 and enjoyed soccer, music, photography and creative writing. He served as an LDS missionary in the Canada Toronto mission and had a deep love of the scriptures. His fluency in Spanish and Portuguese helped him teach many from other countries living in Canada.In 2010 he married Christina Pinney in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Mass Communication and has worked for several marketing and advertising companies. He was also a free-lance writer for the Utah Jazz blog.He has served in numerous church callings with the young men and elders quorum.His friendly and accepting personality led to having many friends who he has helped along life's pathway. He had a quick and subtle wit that won the hearts of all.Jonathan is survived by his parents, Craig and Judy Hill; one sister, Natalie (C.R.) Bock; and his two nephews, Curtis and Dane Bock.The family would like to thank Turning Point and Myers Mortuary for their support.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, 21 September 2013 at the Brookhaven LDS Chapel at 11:00 a.m. (190 North Country Lane, Fruit Heights). A viewing will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.In lieu of flowers please donate to the LDS Missionary Fund.
