KAMAS, Summit County — The Heber-Kamas Ranger District has announced that motorists may encounter delays along Mirror Lake Highway for hazard tree removal through Friday.
Three crews from the Utah Division of Forestry Fire and State Lands and one crew from the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest will be removing hazardous trees starting from Highline Trailhead and continuing north to the North Slope road turnoff, approximately 30 miles south of Evanston, Wyo.
There will be flaggers from the Utah Department of Transportation stationed on the highway every day to direct the flow of traffic.
