Blaine Eugene Wasescha1933 2013Blaine passed away September 18, 2013 in Draper, Utah at age 80.He was born April 8, 1933 in Salem, Utah to John and Pearl Wasescha. Blaine met Anne Ritinski in the Peace Corps. They later married.Blaine had a PhD in Psychology and worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He served two years in the U. S. Army. Blaine was a proud member of the Swiss chorus Edelweiss and promoted folk music through concerts and regional festivals. He was also an avid mountain climber and loved the outdoors.Survived by son, Eric Wasescha (Idaho) and daughters Heidi Gabrielsen (Idaho) and Julie Temperli (South Dakota).Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, September 27 at 1 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road (1700 West).www.goffmortuary.com
