RaNae R. Robinson1936 ~ 2013BRIGHAM CITY, UTEsther RaNae Richins Robinson 76 passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, September 26, 2013, in Brigham City, UT. She was born October 31, 1936 in Henefer, UT, the daughter of Ray Ira Richins and Rena Ann Dearden Richins. She graduated from North Summit High School in 1954. ReNae married Elden Dale Robinson on July 2, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of seven children.Though they lived in many places, including Logan, UT, Detroit, MI, Fort Wayne, IN and Brigham City, she loved her hometown of Henefer, and considered it heaven on earth. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Jazz, the Aggies and her beloved Box Elder Bees. She was also a voracious reader and instilled that love in all her children. ReNae was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings but enjoyed teaching the gospel and studying the scriptures best. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. Survivors include her husband Elden, children Brad (Rose) Robinson, Maureen (Alan) Green, Christine (Kay) Christensen, RaeAnne (Jared) Thayne, Michael (Sherri) Robinson, Jennifer (Jed) Black and Carrie (Jeremy) Stevenson; twenty-five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings Scott (Marie) Richins, Ann (Ken) Walker, Rulon (Kass) Richins, Lynn (Sherry) Richins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11a.m. at Brigham City 7th Ward Chapel, 523 N. 100 W., Brigham City, UT.Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.
