Carson LaVar Norris3/19/1924 ~ 9/27/2013A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was born the seventh child of Thomas James Norris and Ruth Leomi Jones in Randolf, Utah. Beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and great-grandfather. Marred to the love of his life Laila Mae Robbins on April 26, 1951. He passed Sept. 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graduated from South Rich High School in 1941. Enlisted in the Army in 1943, 3rd BN., 34th Inf., 24th Div. Served in the Philippines and witnessed the massive destruction in Japan. Carson was a Rancher, Soldier, Steel Fab. Foreman at Continental Steel for many years. Survived by brother Wm.E Norris, sister Letitia M. Childs, children F. Guy Norris, Robbyn L Bumgardner, LeighAnn Kinnear, grandchildren Kristie J Scothern, Regan D Mardis, Jessie L Haley, Erin M Norris, Ian E. Hayden, Wyatt K Kinnear, great-grandchildren Brittni A Mardis, Aubree A Mardis, Cayden M. Mardis, Toby T Mardis, Ayshton C Mardis, Ryker L Mardis, Tayah Meyer, Mason Scothern, Tyler H Munk and Emily Maelynn Haley. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Laila Mae Norris, brothers Thomas J Norris, Ben W Norris, baby boy Norris, sisters Leomi, Bardina and Leprel.His viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Larkin Mortuary 260 E.
