William Richard Hinds1923 ~ 2013William Richard Hinds, 90, passed away September 3, 2013 at his Mesquite, NV residence. He was born January 28, 1923 in Ogden, UT to William C. and Della Richardson Hinds.William received his early schooling in Ogden and graduated from Weber Jr. College in 1944 and later attended the University of Utah for two years. He then went to work at Sears as a department manager. It was there that he met and married the love of his life; Marylin Dawson on June 11, 1948. He was later employed by Mountain Fuel Supply Company and retired after 29 plus years of service. He was an avid sportsman and golfer and was a member of the Oakridge Country Club for 34 years; where he served one year as it's president. William and Marylin moved to Mesquite, NV in 1997.Survivors include his wife Marilyn; sons, Richard and William (Patty); grandchildren, Jeff, Missy, Katie and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Mason, Mallory, Jackson, Ayden and Macie: Sweet Hearts for Eternity.Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgin Valley Mortuary,320 E.
