LaVern Stears Hunt1927 ~ 2013Born July 12, 1927, in Santa Cruz, CA. to Samuel Lee Stears and Elsie Madge Landgren. She passed away September 3, 2013, surrounded by her family in Payson, UT. She had three brothers and two sisters. She married Claude Rowe, had four children Frank, Elsie, Margaret and Ted and later divorced. She married Ivan Hunt, had four boys Bob, Jim, Gilbert and Bruce and later divorced. She resided in Spanish Fork, UT. for the last 65 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Tom & Richard, one sister Betty, her son Jim, one grandson and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by two daughters and five sons, Frank and Linda Rowe, Tooele, UT; Elise and Roy Glispy, Mt. Pleasant, UT; Margaret Prince, Spanish Fork, UT; Ted and Sharon Rowe, Las Vegas, NV; Bob Hunt, Bountiful, UT; Gilbert Hunt, Menado, CA; Bruce and Tina Hunt, Spanish Fork, UT.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Spanish Fork 4th Ward Chapel, 400 North 400 East, Spanish Fork, UT. Family and friends may call from 9-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held in Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Funeral is under supervision of Walker Sanderson Tribute Center of Provo.
