Peggy Lyn Cornia1949 ~ 2014On January 23rd our prayers were answered allowing our wonderful caring Mother and Grandmother to return home, ending her long courageous battle with cancer. She peacefully slipped from this life into eternity embraced by her family and loved ones in the comfort of her own home.As a young girl she loved hunting, skiing and spending time with her horses. During her lifetime she weathered many storms and trials but met each one with great courage, integrity and faith. She possessed a quiet strength which allowed her to meet each trial in her own way. Her faith blessed the lives of all around her and stands as a testament to her love for God. She made the gospel the focus of her life and encouraged her children with her words and actions to follow their savior Jesus Christ. Peggy was a very devoted mother and her children were everything to her. She took great pride in their accomplishments. Peggy loved her family dearly, living her life as a great example of service to them and others. She enjoyed doing things to bless the lives of her sons, daughter and her five beautiful grandchildren. Not a day went by that she wasn't thinking about and doing something for someone else. Peggy enjoyed reading, crocheting and cooking, and she loved having her family over for Sunday dinner. She had a love for children and was delighted when she had grandchildren. She found great joy in spending time with each of them. Peggy will be greatly missed and remembered by those surviving her including her children: Clayton (Helen) Cornia, Jared (Tarina) Cornia , Matthew (Angelle) Cornia, and Kimberly Cornia; grandchildren: Kara, Holden and Stratton Cornia; Kyah Cornia and Victoria Cornia; Peggy's brother: Scott Burnham and numerous cousins, in laws and close friends.
