For the second consecutive week, the Westminster College women’s basketball team came in at No. 3 in the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll as the fifth regular season edition of the poll was released Tuesday.

Westminster accrued 230 points to hold the No. 3 position for a second straight week and third time in school history. The Griffins are 14-2 on the season, including an unblemished 8-0 mark in the Frontier Conference. Paced by NAIA-leader Alli Winters (.591), Westminster leads the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (.415). The Griffins have now spent a school-record 29 consecutive polls ranked inside the top 25, and they are also the only team in the country to be ranked inside the top five for each of the past 18 polls.

Vanguard sits atop this week’s poll for the sixth-straight edition. The Lions accumulated nine first-place votes and 250 total points to earn their 34th all-time No. 1 ranking dating back to the 1999-2000 season.
