Albert Eldredge Maddocks1925 ~ 2013Albert Eldredge Maddocks, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 from pneumonia. He was born June 28, 1925 in Bronx, NY, to Robert and Ruby Maddocks. In 1951 he married Anne Pearce. Together they raised eight children. The marriage ended in divorce. Albert worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for many years. He co-founded Al-Anne Portraits, where he earned the reputation of being an expert baby photographer. Albert enjoyed carpentry work. He spent his life as a volunteer in various positions in the LDS Church. He was an usher at the Tabernacle, on Temple Square in SLC. Later in life he served a mission in Nauvoo. He was a temple worker for many years in St. George. He is survived by his wife, Amy Wiese Maddocks; children, Larry, Kathy, Beth, Mark, Lynda, Nannette and Charles; 116 grand, great, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, MerrillLee. Funeral Services will be held Saturday Jan. 4th, 2014, 12pm, at the Virgin Ward, 91 South Mill Road, Virgin, UT.
