LOGAN — "Love for the game, love for the school."

That's why one Utah State fan said he wouldn't think to miss out on his family's tailgate tradition Friday night. Skiffs of snow and below-freezing weather weren't going to stop him or 18,427 other football fans from taking in the game at Romney Stadium.

Take in the pregame scene with "The Hurd." The Aggies have perhaps the state's most passionate student section. The students were at it again as the Aggies took down the San Jose State Spartans 41-7.

Emotions were running high in Logan. For senior linebacker Zach Vigil and his classmates, Friday was the last time they will play on Merlin Olsen Field. Vigil, a preseason First-Team All-Mountain West selection, played like a conference all-pro against San Jose State. He finished with 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the night.
