Three months ago when I signed up for Google Fiber, I was pretty excited about the prospect of free Internet service for seven years. I hadn’t anticipated that Google Fiber would knock out my Comcast Cable TV. So I paid for the higher-speed Google Fiber and ordered its cable TV service as well.
Not until opening season for the Utah Jazz did I realize that I had been Googled. ROOT TV, which broadcasts the Jazz games, is not included in the Google Fiber menu. At 68 years of age, I still play basketball a couple of times each week and I am a loyal Jazz fan.
The fires of my frustration were again stoked when I read about Gordon Hayward’s buzzer beater that defeated King James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. I hope that Google will recognize that we are in Jazz country and add ROOT TV to its menu.
