She also served as a church service missionary at Temple Square in Salt Lake City and at the Missionary Training Center in Provo. As a family we remember with fondness many outings to the park, mountains, and even a motor home trip across the USA. Family was always precious to Sharon and holidays were traditionally spent together in celebration and summers were filled with reunions. Sunday evenings were reserved for visits with relatives or spent playing table games with family. Although health struggles filled her daily life in recent years, we take solace that these difficulties have lapsed. We offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the caregivers and family members who lovingly cared for Sharon this past year so she could live as comfortably as possible.Sharon is survived by her husband Samuel, her children, Laurie (David) Taylor, Lisa (Boyd) Pettys Taylor, Stephen (Teresa) Whitehead, Michael (Emilie) Whitehead, and Gary (Teresa) Whitehead.
