What would happen if civil war came to London?
Save the Children’s latest video campaign, featuring a young girl, is meant to demonstrate the effects a civil war would have on children, foreignpolicy.com reported. Part of the aim of the children’s rights advocacy organization is to spread awareness about what has happened to the children in Syria during the country's recent political unrest and civil war, the website said.
"Since the beginning of the conflict, children have been the forgotten victims of Syria's horrific war," Save the Children said, according to foreignpolicy.com. "Today, over 5 million children are in need of assistance, including over 1 million children who have sought refuge in neighboring countries. These children are at risk of becoming a 'lost generation' and cannot be ignored."
