SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams has selected Sarah Brenna as the new director of the county's Department of Administrative Services.
Brenna has held several positions with the county, including grant technician for Youth Services, case manager for Criminal Justice and Economic Development, director of Aging and Adult Services, and most recently as associate director of Human Services. She also has worked in project management for the Utah Department of Workforce Services.
Administrative Services oversees fleet management, human resources, contracts and procurement, facilities management, information services, printing, and records management. Brenna replaces former director Jill Carter, who resigned in April.
Brenna has a bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. Her selection is subject to the advice and consent of the County Council, McAdams said.
