DAVIS 17, SYRACUSE 10: Davis jumped out to a commanding lead at the break and held off a late charge from Syracuse to pick up the region win. Parker Christiansen rifled two touchdown passes to lead the home team in the win.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 3, SOUTH SUMMIT 1: Alissa Anderson scored all three goals for ALA as it bested South Summit. Lacey Farmer found the net in the loss for the Wildcats.

GRAND 6, NORTH SEVIER 0: The Red Devils blanked the Wolves.

MANTI 8, GUNNISON 0: Manti jumped out to a commanding lead at the break and cruised in the second half to top Gunnison. Mikaela Cox led the Templars with four goals, while teammate Avalin Cook added two more in the win.


DELTA 8, SOUTH SEVIER 0: Abby Christensen scored twice and six others found the net for Delta as it blanked South Sevier. Lynda Harris got the shutout in goal.

PAROWAN 7, BEAVER 2: Seven different players scored for Parowan as it got off to a strong start and didnt let up in its defeat of Beaver. The Rams finished the contest with a 28-3 advantage in shots on goal. Angela Roberts found the net twice for the Beavers.


DAVIS 1, FREMONT 0: Davis took a 1-0 edge at the break and held on in the second half to knock off Fremont on the road. Freshman Olivia Wade netted the lone goal of the match late in the first half, while Abbie OBrien recorded the blank sheet between the posts in the win.

LAYTON 3, WEBER 1: Livia Borges drew first blood in the 34th minute of the first half to help Layton take a 1-0 lead at the break. In the second half, the Lancers added to its lead and held on for the win off freshman Ashley Arnes and Haylee Elmores scores.


HUNTER 0, WEST 0: Neither team could gain an edge as the region match ended in a draw. Elmira Sperling finished with the blank sheet between the posts for the home team, while Whitney Lopez also recorded the shutout for Hunter.

HILLCREST 1, GRANGER 0: Skye Jeffries goal in the first half proved to be enough as Hillcrest beat Granger in a battle. Nicole Jessen got the shutout in goal for the Huskies.

TAYLORSVILLE 1, COTTONWOOD 0: Taylorsvilles Aubre Bishop scored the golden goal in the second and final overtime to help the Warriors outlast Cottonwood at home. Ceami Passey recorded the shutout in the win.


ALTA 5, BINGHAM 0: Sadie Mertlich led Alta with two goals and three others scored for the Hawks as they blanked Bingham. Isabel Jones got the shutout in goal for Alta.

BRIGHTON 4, JORDAN 0: Four different players found twine while Megan Turner recorded the blank sheet in goal as Brighton blanked Jordan.


RIVERTON 3, PLEASANT GROVE 2: Facing a 1-1 draw at the break, Riverton came out in the second half and outscored Pleasant Grove 2-1 to outlast the Vikings and pick up the region victory. Hailey Skolmoskis two goals set the pace for the home team, while Morgan Quarnberg also finished with two scores in the loss.

HERRIMAN 3, LEHI 2: In its third annual Sept. 11 tribute game, Herriman came out on top in a thriller against Lehi in front of many first-responder personnel. It was the Mustangs first victory in the annual contest. Cassidy Adams scored twice for Herriman, including the golden goal in the second overtime. The score came after the Mustangs had taken a 2-0 lead only to have Lehi tie things up in the second half. Kaylee Holt scored the other goal for Herriman, while Taylor Booth and Rachel Rogers found the net for the Pioneers.

LONE PEAK 1, AMERICAN FORK 0: Cameron Tucker was able to find the back of the net while Cassidy Smith recorded the shutout to help Lone Peak blank American Fork at home.


MOUNTAIN CREST 5, BONNEVILLE 2: Mountain Crest jumped out to a commanding lead at the break and held on in the second half to top Bonneville in region play.

SKY VIEW 3, OGDEN 0: Sky Views Riley Hardy found the back of the net in the second half to help the Bobcats cruise past Ogden. Sammy Guadarama led the home team with two goals, while Sam Loosle earned the blank sheet in goal.

LOGAN 3, ROY 0: Jana McKay scored the first two goals of the match while teammate Veronica Sullivan added another to help Logan blank Roy at home. Sam Aguilar recorded the shutout between the posts.


HIGHLAND 6, JUDGE MEMORIAL 0: Highland jumped out to a commanding four-goal lead at the break and added to its lead in the second half to cruise past Judge Memorial. Krystle Payne erupted for a game-high four goals while Emma Thornton added two more to anchor the Rams in the win.

CLEARFIELD 9, CYPRUS 0: Clearfields Brinley Adams, Baylie Christensen, and Rachel Penner each scored two goals apiece in the blowout win over Cyprus. McKenna Sill recorded the shutout for the Falcons in the victory.

WOODS CROSS 1, BOUNTIFUL 0: Kennedy Yost scored the lone goal for the Wildcats.

EAST 6, KEARNS 0: Easts Jill Bennett netted two goals while three other Leopards found the back of the net to help East blew past Kearns on the road.


SKYLINE 2, OLYMPUS 0: Holly Daugirda and Jaslyn Masina scored in the second half to help lift Skyline over Olympus. Hillary Weixler got the shutout in goal for the Eagles.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 2, OREM 1: Up a goal at halftime, Mountain View allowed Orem to tie things up before Alecia Robinson scored the game winner with about 10 minutes remaining. It was Robinsons second goal of the day to lead the Bruins.

TIMPANOGOS 4, CORNER CANYON 1: Corner Canyon scored in the first five minutes of the contest, but Timpanogos came out of halftime blazing, scoring four times in the second frame to run away from the Chargers. Four players scored for the Timberwolves and Carly Nelson had a pair of nice saves down the stretch to help keep Corner Canyon at bay.


WASATCH 9, SPANISH FORK 1: Dani Perkins scored in the third minute for Spanish Fork, but Wasatch woke up and proceeded to dominate the Dons to pick up the win. Ashlyn Coleman led the way with a hat trick and four others found the net for the Wasps in the win.

SPRINGVILLE 7, PROVO 0: McKayla Montgomery recorded the hat trick while four other players found the back of the net as Springville blew past Provo.

TIMPVIEW 2, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 0: Kesley Rumsey netted both goals while Timpview played tough defense to top Maple Mountain on the road. Daryl Kaufusi earned his fourth consecutive shutout, while defenders Ashley King, Katie Haskins, Liza Smith, Treasure Gill and Wesley Baird played tremendous defense to anchor the Thunderbirds in the win.


DIXIE 3, DESERT HILLS 2: In a back-and-forth battle, Elizabeth Durrant scored down the stretch for Dixie to lift it over Desert Hills. Tanner Gledhill and Starlee Woodbury also scored for the Flyers.

SNOW CANYON 2, CEDAR 0: Serena Lindsey assisted Brooklyn Woods score in the first half.

PINE VIEW 4, HURRICANE 0: Pine View turned on the jets in the second half en route to blasting Hurricane. Four different players scored for the Panthers and Andi Baron got the shutout in goal.


MORGAN 8, UNION 0: Kazarie Kephart and Tessa Vollmer led Morgan with two goals apiece as it took care of Union in dominating fashion. Four others scored for the Trojans while Mollie Freestone got the shutout in goal.


BEAR RIVER 3, TOOELE 0: Jasmin Esquivel, Sadie Croney and Whitney Wilcox all scored as Bear River blanked Tooele. Bailey Noyes got the clean sheet for the Bears.


WATERFORD 8, AMERICAN PREPARATORY ACADEMY 1: Linnea Horvath scored twice and five others found the net as Waterford trounced APA. Anna Lopez scored for APA in the second half to help her squad avoid the shutout.

SALEM HILLS 7, PAYSON 0: Six different players found the back of the net for Salem Hills, led by Paige Robins two scores, as the Skyhawks flew over the Lions.



FREMONT DEF. WEBER 25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 21-25, 16-14: After splitting the first four sets of the match, Fremont regrouped and held-off the late Weber charge to pick up the region victory.

SYRACUSE DEF. LAYTON 25-17, 23-25, 30-28, 25-20: Marlee Adams had 15 kills, three blocks and 10 digs to lead Syracuse over Layton in four sets. Rylee Cate had 12 kills, 18 digs, two assists, a block and an ace to lead the Lancers.

NORTHRIDGE DEF. VIEWMONT 25-19, 25-19, 25-23: Talia Thompson had 15 kills, three aces and five digs; Tabby Williams added 35 assists, four digs, one block assist, one ace and three kills; and Keana Smalls contributed 13 kills, seven digs, one ace and one block assist to lead Northridge past Viewmont.


PLEASANT GROVE DEF. LEHI 25-21, 25-20, 25-18: Pleasant Grove claimed three straight sets to knock off region foe Lehi on the road. The Vikings tallied 30 kills and 30 digs as a team in the victory.


BOX ELDER DEF. ROY 25-23, 25-19, 25-15: Box Elder came out on top in the first three games to blow past Roy.

BONNEVILLE DEF. SKY VIEW 25-14, 25-11, 25-11: Bonneville blew past Sky View in three straight sets behind Shannon Sorensons 11 kills and two aces.

MOUNTAIN CREST DEF. OGDEN 25-16, 23-25, 25-15, 25-17: Clara Call had 15 assists and five digs while Malorri Barney added 11 digs and two assists to help Mountain Crest top Ogden in four sets.


KEARNS DEF. EAST 23-25, 25-22, 26-24, 25-22: After dropping the first set, Kearns came out and won three straight sets to knock off East on the road.


SKYLINE DEF. MURRAY 25-12, 25-22, 25-11: Abigail Olds had 11 kills and 10 digs while Anna Flitton added nine blocks as Skyline handled Murray easily.

TIMPVIEW DEF. WASATCH 31-25, 25-7, 25-19: Lacy Haddock had eight kills and 11 digs, Lyndie Haddock added six kills and 15 assists, and Maliyah Tela finished with six kills and 11 assists to lead Timpview past Wasatch in three straight sets. Annie Hofheins and Kirsten Dahl also had six kills and 13 digs, respectively, in the win.

SALEM HILLS DEF. SPRINGVILLE 25-18, 25-20, 19-25, 26-24: Salem Hills jumped out to an early two-set lead before taking care of business in four over Springville.


HURRICANE DEF. DESERT HILLS 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 15-10: Rachel Nielsen had a monster night with 29 kills and eight aces as Hurricane came out on top in an intense five-set battle over Desert Hills. Addie Edwards had 55 assists and Hannah Rich 48 digs for the Tigers.


SAN JUAN DEF. GRAND 25-22, 25-13, 25-23: On a night in which they came up with 58 digs as a team, the San Juan Broncos swept Grand in convincing fashion.


DUGWAY DEF. WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 25-15: Dugway used a dominant fourth set to put West Ridge away.

ST. JOSEPH DEF. WENDOVER 25-22, 23-25, 25-12, 25-18: With the match knotted at a set apiece, St. Joseph dominated the final two en route to beating Wendover.




NORTH SANPETE DEF. JUAN DIEGO 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22: Jentry Ison had 17 digs, Ashley Nuttall added 17 kills, and Shelby Ison finished with 15 kills to lead North Sanpete past Juan Diego in four sets.

PAYSON DEF. GRANTSVILLE 25-21, 21-25, 25-9, 25-20: After splitting the first two sets, Payson claimed the next two to knock off Grantsville in four sets at home.

WEST JORDAN DEF. GRANGER 25-13, 25-18, 25-20: Marissa Hogan had 12 kills and Cherish Sosi had 31 assists to lead the Jaguars past Granger in three straight sets.

TOOELE DEF. COPPER HILLS 24-26, 25-16, 25-11, 25-19: After dropping the first set, Tooele won four in a row to top Copper Hills at home. Brin Stewart had 13 kills, 14 digs and two aces; Daisy Brown had 35 assists and seven aces; and Sydnee Simmons and Amber Haskell each had eight kills in the win.

NORTH SUMMIT DEF. PARK CITY 25-21, 14-25, 25-21, 25-19: Elise Richins eight aces and 26 assists helped North Summit edge Park City in four sets.
