Utah Grizzlies head coach and General Manager Tim Branham announced Wednesday that the team signed defenseman Charles-Olivier Roussel for the 2014-2015 season.
“Charlie is another top-notch addition that we have made to our hockey club,” Branham said. “He is a good skater who defends very well. His AHL experience will prove very valuable for our locker room and I will rely on him extensively in all game situations. We are very pleased to have Charlie.”
Roussel played 66 games in 2013-2014 with the Nashville Predators AHL affiliate in Milwaukee totaling four goals and 13 assists for 17 points. He split his rookie season in 2012-2013 between Cincinnati of the ECHL and Milwaukee.
