ST. JOSEPH 12, MOUNT VERNON 0: St. Joseph dominated Mount Vernon in the opening game of a doubleheader. Nick Gruet hit a home run for the Jayhawks and Matt Morton got the win on the mound.

ST. JOSEPH 16, MOUNT VERNON 0: St. Joseph completed the big sweep of Mount Vernon. Nick Gruet pitched the Jayhawks to the victory.

REGION 4

AMERICAN FORK 51, LONE PEAK 24: American Forks dominant defensive performance and strong second half helped the Cavemen roll past the Knights at home. Zach Katoa had an impressive outing as he hit pay dirt six times three of which came on the ground as the home team cruised to the region win.

2A CENTRAL

SOUTH SUMMIT 4, GUNNISON 2: South Summits three first-half goals proved to be the difference maker as the Wildcats outlasted the Bulldogs on the road. Shipley Taylor set the pace for South Summit with two scores.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 2, GRAND 1: Jenessa Curtis scored the golden goal for ALA as it snuck by Grand. Autumn Gay also found the net for the Eagles while Hannah Rice scored for the Red Devils.

2A NORTH

ROWLAND HALL 4, WATERFORD 2: In a big-time region matchup, Rowland Halls offense excelled en route to beating Waterford. Mariah Papic led the Winged Lions with two goals, while Jessica Sterrett and Lizzy Baer also found the net. Emily McIntyre and Jacqueline Pollard scored for the Ravens.

ST. JOSEPH 4, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 0: Kate Weil scored twice as St. Joseph dominated throughout en route to blanking Layton Christian. Chloe Bokinskie also found the net and Jessica Tovey scored her first career goal for the Jayhawks. Ali Koehler got the shutout in goal.

MILLARD 8, SOUTH SEVIER 0: Emeri Larsen had the hat trick while teammate Natalie Wall added two goals of her own to propel Millard over South Sevier.

PAROWAN 9, DIAMOND RANCH 1: Parowans Ashlynn Blauer and Shelies Frandsen each had a hat-trick to aid in the lopsided victory. The Rams jumped out to a commanding 6-1 halftime lead and never looked back.

REGION 1

WEBER 4, FREMONT 1: Weber took a 1-0 lead at the break and added three goals in the second half to knock off Fremont. Four different players found the back of the net for the Warriors, while Kinsley Napoli netted the lone goal in the loss.

NORTHRIDGE 2, SYRACUSE 0: Tawney Fitzgerald and Courtney Wayment each found the back of the net while teammate Josie Manwill earned the shutout between the posts in the victory over Syracuse.

HILLCREST 5, COTTONWOOD 2: Emily Sorge scored twice as Hillcrest had a hot first half and cruised to the win. Three others found the net for the Huskies while Nixie Hernandez and Nicole Kristensen scored for Cottonwood.

REGION 4

AMERICAN FORK 4, RIVERTON 3: American Fork used a strong defensive effort in the second half and its offense finally got going as it stormed back from a half-time deficit to top Riverton on the road.

LONE PEAK 6, PLEASANT GROVE 0: The Knights blanked the Vikings.

HERRIMAN 5, WESTLAKE 2: Kaylee Holt buried two goals to help Herriman top Westlake on the road. Katie Smith and Kimberly Martinez each scored to lead the Thunder in the loss.

REGION 5

BONNEVILLE 2, SKY VIEW 0: Sydney Christensen had a shutout in the net to give the Lakers their third consecutive win and bit of revenge on the Bobcats after their first meeting ended with Bonneville surrendering two own goals.

OGDEN 3, ROY 0: Jaimee Hansen scored twice as Ogden dominated Roy. Amanda Hill earned the shutout for the Tigers, saving a penalty kick and adding an assist.

BOX ELDER 3, LOGAN 0: Paige Stevens and Sadie Munns each found twine in the first half and Sydney Ueymatsu buried another in the second half to help Box Elder blank Logan.

REGION 6

BOUNTIFUL 3, JUDGE MEMORIAL 1: Amy Chidester scored twice to lead Bountiful over Judge. Sophia Skedros also found the net for the Braves while Emily Garcia scored for the Bulldogs.

HIGHLAND 5, KEARNS 0: Krystle Payne earned a hat trick as the Rams shutout the Cougars in region play.

WOODS CROSS 8, CYPRUS 0: Kennedy Yost found the back of the net six times as the Wildcats routed Cyprus in region play.

CLEARFIELD 2, EAST 0: Brinley Adams and Afton Barlow each scored once as the Falcons bested East. McKenna Sill earned credit for the shutout in the win.

REGION 7

MURRAY 3, MOUNTAIN VIEW 2: Kidist Searle scored with two minutes remaining to help Murray sneak past Mountain View.

SKYLINE 2, TIMPANOGOS 1: Emma Heyn and Holly Daugirda each punched in goals to help Skyline edge Timpanogos. Aspen Farrer scored the lone goal in the loss.

OLYMPUS 3, OREM 0: Anna Escobedo led the Titans with two goals and teammate Ashley Cardozo added another in the shutout victory over Orem.

REGION 8

SALEM HILLS 5, SPANISH FORK 1: Salem Hills erupted for four goals in a span of nine minutes in the first half to blow past region foe Spanish Fork on the road. Paige Robbins hat trick and Sophie Hartlines two scores set the pace for the Skyhawks in the win. Dani Perkins scored the lone goal in the loss.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 3, SPRINGVILLE 1: Maple Mountain used a strong second half to break away from Springville. Ellise Flake, Ally Vaught, and Scierra Woods each netted a goal for the Golden Eagles in their Region 8 victory. Ellise and Ally assisted each others goals in the win.

TIMPVIEW 5, PROVO 0: Kesley Rumsey notched two goals and dished out an assist while Lindsee Moffat added a goal and assist of her own to help Timpview blank Provo in the Region 8 matchup. Daryl Kaufusi earned the clean sheet in goal for Timpview.

REGION 9

DESERT HILLS 2, SNOW CANYON 0: Desert Hills scored a goal in each of the two halves to top region rival Snow Canyon at home. Abby Buymon and Brittany Terry scored the goals for the Thunder, while teammate Kaley Brooksby recorded the shutout between the posts.

DIXIE 2, PINE VIEW 1: Starlee Woodbury scored both of Dixies goals as it topped Pine View. Eliza Stirling found the net for the Panthers.

CEDAR 7, CANYON VIEW 1: Sisters Nicole and Ashley Jenkins combined for five goals to lead Cedar as it dominated Canyon View.

REGION 11

STANSBURY 8, GRANTSVILLE 0: Stansbury jumped out to a commanding seven-goal lead at the half and cruised the rest of the way to pick up the region victory over Grantsville. Rachel Prescott, Krystanne Idom and Sammy Howa all netted two goals in the win.

BEAR RIVER 4, MALAD, IDAHO 0: Whitney Wilcox led the Bears with two goals in the victory over Malad, Idaho. Natalie Cottle earned the shutout between the posts.

REGION 1

LAYTON DEF. NORTHRIDGE 12-25, 14-25, 19-25: Tabby Williams had 30 assists, five digs, four block assists and three kills; Talia Thompson added 17 kills, seven digs, three aces and one block assist; and Keana Smalls contributed 10 kills, four digs, two block assists and one ace to lead Northridge past region rival Layton in three consecutive sets.

FREMONT DEF. VIEWMONT 25-9, 25-15, 25-21: Madeline Vigil and Whitney Wray each earned 12 kills in the Fremont victory over Viewmont. The Silver Wolves remain undefeated in region play.

DAVIS DEF. SYRACUSE 25-15, 25-20, 25-21

REGION 3

BINGHAM DEF. ALTA 27-29, 24-26, 25-10, 25-23, 15-4: After falling in two close sets, Bingham rebounded to tie and then dominated the fifth to take the match. Megan Boudroux had 15 kills and a .400 hitting percentage to lead the Miners. Kendzee Cloward had 24 digs and a 2.27 passing percentage in the win.

JORDAN DEF. COPPER HILLS 25-12, 25-16, 26-24: Jordan blew open the match by topping Copper Hills in three straight sets to pick up the region win.

REGION 4

LEHI DEF. RIVERTON 25-21, 25-11, 25-21: The Pioneers bested the Silverwolves in three sets.

PLEASANT GROVE DEF. LONE PEAK 25-17, 25-17, 19-25, 25-22: The Vikings effort totaled 57 digs, 49 kills, and 44 assists in the region victory over Lone Peak.

REGION 5

BOX ELDER DEF. OGDEN 25-6, 25-11, 25-11: The Bees defeated Ogden in three sets.

BONNEVILLE DEF. ROY 25-13, 25-21, 25-21: Sam Filiaga had six kills and three blocks to lead Bonneville in a sweep over Roy. Taylor Anderson had six kills and three digs for the Lakers and added an ace.

REGION 6

BOUNTIFUL DEF. WOODS CROSS 24-26, 25-17, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13: McCall Asay and Laurel Bennion both had seven kills and four aces to lead Bountiful as it eked out a five-set win over Woods Cross. Sydney Brandon had 18 digs for the Braves.

REGION 8

SPRINGVILLE DEF. WASATCH 21-25, 25-8, 25-9, 25-12: Springville dropped the first set but regrouped and dominated the final three to beat Wasatch. Amanda Schultz had eight kills and 10 digs to lead the Red Devils. Cassidy Bowers had 18 digs and four aces while Stacy Stapel and Courtney MacKay had 14 assists apiece.

REGION 9

DESERT HILLS DEF. CANYON VIEW 25-12, 25-6, 25-6: Desert Hills blew past Canyon View in three straight sets to cruise to the region victory.

SNOW CANYON DEF. DIXIE 25-10, 25-17, 25-16: Crash Parker had 17 kills and 10 digs to lead Snow Canyon in a sweep. Kodee Avery contributed 21 assists, 10 digs and three aces for the Warriors.

REGION 10

PARK CITY DEF. UNION 25-20, 25-22, 25-19: Tressa Buckland had 11 kills, Chrissy Glasmann added eight digs, Sammee Thomas dished out 16 assists and Sam Tan contributed 14 assists to lead Park City past Union.

REGION 11

BEAR RIVER DEF. BEN LOMOND 19-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-16: The Bears defeated Ben Lomond in four sets. In the win, Alyssa Park had 21 kills and 22 digs, Jessica Rose had 23 digs, Oakli Rhodes had 15 digs, and Jenny Bitner had 34 assists.

TOOELE DEF. STANSBURY 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19: Brynn Stewart had 10 kills and four aces to lead Tooele over Stansbury. Sydney Simmons added nine kills. Tiffany Robbins led the Stallions with 14 kills in the loss.

REGION 12

NORTH SANPETE DEF. JUAB 25-12, 23-25, 25-16, 25-21: The Hawks defeated Juab in four sets.

PAYSON DEF. RICHFIELD 25-23, 28-26, 25-17: The Lions swept the Wildcats in region play.

REGION 13

DELTA DEF. MILLARD 25-15, 25-11, 25-14

ENTERPRISE DEF. BEAVER 25-5, 25-11, 25-11: The Wolves swept Beaver in the region match-up.

MAESER PREP DEF. LAYTON CHRISTIAN 17-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-9: After an early loss, the Lions rallied back and defeated Layton Christian in three sets

ROWLAND HALL DEF. ROCKWELL 25-11, 25-18, 25-12: Sara Matsumura had eight kills, 10 digs and two aces to lead Rowland Hall as it routed Rockwell. Anna Reganis added four digs and Kaitlyn Jenkins had 16 assists for the Winged Lions.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP DEF. SUMMIT ACADEMY 25-14, 25-16, 25-17: McKayla Hewerdine led ALA with 10 kills in a sweep.

ST. JOSEPH DEF. WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 25-9, 25-12, 25-7: Mady White had 14 kills and Kathleen Tomon had 14 assists as the Jayhawks swept West Ridge Academy in region play.

TINTIC DEF. DUGWAY 25-22, 25-13, 25-16: The Miners defeated the Mustangs in three sets.

INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN DEF. WENDOVER 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20: The Lions picked up the victory over Wendover to remain undefeated in region play.

MONTICELLO DEF. GRAND 25-21, 25-22, 26-24: Monticello outscored Grand by a combined nine points in three straight sets as the Buckaroos knocked off the Red Devils on the road.
