SALT LAKE CITY — The Web Marketing Association recently recognized Utah Hunting and Fishing as the Best Government Mobile Application.
Designed to improve the outdoor experience for hunters and anglers, the app was developed the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and Utah.gov.
“It is an honor to receive such a prestigious award,” said Greg Sheehan, director of the DWR. “Utahns are showing more interest than ever in mobile sites and applications and we are happy to be recognized for our efforts to lead the way in providing convenient solutions for hunters and anglers.”
The MobileWebAward recognizes excellence in the world of mobile application development. The competition honors people and organizations responsible for developing effective mobile websites and mobile apps on the Internet.
The Hunting and Fishing app is available on iTunes and Google Play.
