SALT LAKE CITY — The Wasatch Front Regional Council is seeking input from residents on a regional transportation plan for Salt Lake, Davis, Weber and Box Elder counties.
Through Feb. 20, residents can comment on the latest draft of the plan to provide input on road, transit and bike and pedestrian projects planned for different areas. Proposed projects and interactive maps can be found and commented on at wfrc.org, and open houses will be held for more feedback.
The open houses are Monday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at West Valley City Hall; Feb. 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Roy City Hall; and an online open house at wfrc.org, Feb. 17, 4-6 p.m.
The Draft 2015-2040 Regional Transportation Plan was developed to improve mobility, promote economic vitality, improve air quality and enhance quality of life along the Wasatch Front.
Updated every four years, the plan prioritizes the investments needed to improve, maintain, preserve and operate the roads, transit system, and bike paths in urbanized areas.
