DENVER — A day after Denver police shot and killed a 16-year-old girl in a stolen car, some residents are calling for charges against the officers responsible.

They plan to rally outside the office of District Attorney Mitch Morrissey on Tuesday morning.

Police shot the girl, identified by friends as Jessica Hernandez, on Monday morning after they say she struck and injured an officer in a stolen car.

Police have released few other details about the shooting in an alley in a residential, middle-class neighborhood.
