SALT LAKE CITY — The Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Advice Media announced Thursday that the company will expand its Summit County operations, creating up to 100 new jobs.

Park City-based Advice Media provides digital marketing services for health care practices. The firm's professional team consists of writers, programmers, graphic artists and digital marketing experts who deliver solutions for online publishing and marketing.

The company has indicated it will be creating 100 new jobs over the next five years, with total wages including medical benefits expected to exceed 125 percent of the Summit County average wage.

The projected new state wages over the life of the agreement are estimated to be nearly $17.6 million, with projected new state tax revenues from corporate, payroll and sales taxes projected to be nearly $1.4 million over the five-year period.

The expansion could result in capital investment of $1 million. During the expansion process, Advice Media will continue to provide employees weekly trainings in transferable skills, as well as twice-a-year three-day training.

As part of the contract, the GOED board of directors approved a tax credit of up to $207,802 in the form of a post-performance Economic Development Tax Increment Finance incentive, which is 15 percent of the new state taxes the company will pay over the five-year life of the agreement. Each year as Advice Media meets the criteria in its contract with the state, the company will earn a portion of the total tax credit incentive.
