Drumroll, please… this is THE list. The one you've been waiting for. We asked you to tell us who made your favorite burger, which spa makes you feel most pampered and which mechanic makes you feel at ease.
Well, the votes are in (over 15,000 of them) and KSL Local has just unveiled the ultimate list of Utah's best local businesses. What does that mean for you? Refer back to this list and you'll never have to wonder which mechanic, restaurant, plumber and more to choose ever again.
Here's just a peek at 4 of the 11 categories and their winners:
Home Services
Choosing a business to come into your home can be stressful. Voters expressed full faith in these winners, who were chosen in categories like landscaping, painting, plumbing, roofing, moving services, pest control, childcare and more. Some businesses like Green Day Moving won for the second year in a row while others, like Epic Painting, won for the first time.
Automotive
Everyone has a bad automotive business horror story. Bad work, huge bills and high-pressure salesmanship are just the tip of the iceberg. However, voters agree that the winners in this category are the places to trust. The winners in this category were voted the best glass services, car wash, repair dealers and more. Gines Auto Service, the 2015 repair winner, has been a local favorite since 1960 with a reputation of consistent, friendly service.
Food
Let's get down to the category with the most controversy. Best Restaurant was the largest category with 20 different subcategories including best Utah franchise, burger, desserts and pizza. You won't be surprised to hear the Sweet Tooth Fairy (and their delicious cakebites) took the prize in desserts and Ruth's Diner stole the show in the brunch category.
Health & Wellness
When you're trying to get fit or choose a dance studio for your kids, the options can seem endless. The winners in this category offer a personal touch and the stamp of approval from their loyal clients. 2015 Gym Winner Dash Fitness owner Lacey Brushke believes that fitness should be fun in addition to being challenging. Her customers love the wide variety of classes, personal training options and more.
The 82 winners in 11 categories were voted on by over 15,000 Utahns. See the winners here. Did we miss some? Tell us your favorites in the comments.
