Concerning the wood-burning ban, I would like to know if common sense ever entered the minds of those making the decision? Why would you concern yourself with 5 percent of the perceived problem? Both the pellets and the late-model stoves are approved by the EPA; there are many companies and government programs to upgrade or replace those that are not in compliance. You need to be using some common sense in this decision and not following the emotional speeches of those who don't think through the problem.
It would be pleasing to see you focus on the issues that cause 80 percent of the problem and not the 5 percent. Remember you can't fix the inversion but only mitigate a portion of the pollutants that are trapped within it. Please show us by your actions that we can still believe in you.
