FARMINGTON — Monthly sewer rates this summer will increase for customers in the Central Davis Sewer District, which comprises Farmington, Fruit Heights and Kaysville.

Effective July 1, sewer rates will increase $2 per month to account for costs associated with a conversion from gaseous chlorine to an inherently safer technology, collection system maintenance and additional odor control.

The increase is for the entire district and will be collected on customers' monthly utility bill.

For more information, call the district at 801-451-2190.
